RECIPES DIY PARENTING KIDS CRAFTS HIRING NOW (JOB BOARD)
This End of the Rainbow Paper Plate Twirler is perfect as a St. Patrick's day craft. This craft is not only fun to make, it's fun to play with by letting your child bring it outside and watch it twirl in the wind.
What you'll need to make the twirler:
paper plate
black and yellow construction paper
paint or markers
yarn or ribbon
scissors
tape
First, paint (or color with magic markers) a paper plate in rainbow stripes on both the back and front.
Starting from the outside of the plate, cut a spiral all the way to the middle. (The thinner the bands the longer your spiral will be.)
Cut out a black pot of gold and glue it to the end of the plate (we trimmed the spots that were pointy).
Glue on some yellow circles to make the gold. Tape it to the bottom of the paper plate.
Tape one end of the yarn or ribbon to the middle of the paper plate twirler.
Now you hang the twirler from the ceiling to enjoy. My kids brought it outside and had fun watching it twirl in the wind.
